We are seeking a legal assistant to support our growing divorce, family law, and estate planning legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to assist the paralegals and attorneys with various tasks. You will also help clients and be the first point of contact for new clients who need our type of legal services.


Compensation- $23.50 per hour plus quarterly bonus pay

Compensation:

$23.5 per hour + bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed
  • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews

Perform all legal services under the guidance of an attorney, including:

  • Managing client satisfaction. You are the client concierge, and no client feels neglected because of the role you play in their lives
  • You really enjoy talking to people or organizing reports and databases when you're not busy talking to and engaging with clients
  • Managing expert witnesses and other witnesses
  • You keep us all organized by managing our file system, cross-checking calendars on a daily basis, getting important mail (whether snail mail or electronic mail) organized, calendared, and to the right staff member
  • Case management, preparing our attorneys with data and information for upcoming meetings and deadlines
  • Client Intake, managing and following up with clients who have called our office for help
  • Remain in communication with the clients, opposing parties, communications with courts, guardians ad litem, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Knowledge of Social Media marketing, including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook a plus
