The Position

Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Program Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team to manage the execution of customer programs. The candidate will be accountable for delivering highly reliable aerospace and defense products to government and commercial customers. The Program Manager owns the customer relationship while executing on-time and on-budget delivery for their projects. The Program Manager position requires strong management skills with focuses on communication among contacts inside and outside of the organization on matters of strategic importance to influence new concepts, practices, and approaches with the goal to support Cristek’s customer needs along with the Group strategic plan.

Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of key customer relationships.
  • Lead cross functional team to manage programs at various stages of completion, including proposal, kick-off, planning, execution, delivery of products and customer satisfaction.
  • Tracks and monitors all phases of programs and maintains close contact with customer to ensure development proceeds in a timely manner and that customer is always kept informed.
  • Maintain project schedules, risk analysis, procurement plans, subcontract management plans, project staffing plans, and budget (direct costs, subcontracts, travel, etc.)
  • Understand customer requirements to oversee feasibility of design, suitability, and appropriate business case for various programs.

Education and Experience

  • Related Experience in Aerospace/Defense Manufacturing Required
  • 3+ years Project Management Experience, (PMP) Certification a plus
  • Degree in Project Management and/or Degree in related field of study.
  • 5+ years Customer Facing Experience
  • Previous Contract Management responsibilities
  • MRP/ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce) and Office Suite
