Position Overview:

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Program Leadership, for Maritime Power & Energy Solutions (MPES) in Anaheim will leverage extensive experience in Supply Chain and Program Management to spearhead a collaborative team in crafting a resilient Supply Chain Strategy, executing pivotal programs across the MPES Anaheim portfolio.

Working closely with cross-functional leaders, the Senior Manager will implement customized, effective practices to ensure successful execution during early engineering design phases, guiding the complete product life cycle with a keen focus on risk and opportunity management to guarantee exemplary performance.

This prominent role requires the Senior Manager to oversee program costs, schedules, and adherence to both internal and external regulations concerning materials and subcontracts.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement strategies to enhance both supplier and customer on-time delivery.
  • Ensure the timely achievement of all material and subcontract program milestones.
  • Take accountability for the material and subcontract program budgets, driving initiatives to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and other departments for key Products/Programs.
  • Analyze critical performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and championing ongoing enhancements.
  • Influence and lead in a matrixed environment.
  • Develop Supply Chain Estimates utilizing Risk & Opportunity assessments for various scenarios.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations.
  • Assist Program Finance in compiling quarterly financial status against forecasts.
  • Communicate and document customer flow-down requirements through the Supply Base.
  • Manage key supplier performance and relationships effectively.
  • Lead Supplier Recovery Strategies, ensuring transparency in reporting Supply Chain status and addressing critical issues with solution-oriented actions.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain and Program Management throughout the Product Life Cycle.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to internal executive leadership.
  • Experience in New Business Proposals and Capture on competitive pursuits.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Experience in Subcontractor Management through various development stages.
  • Adept at breaking down complex issues into manageable tasks to achieve business objectives.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management and previous Control Account Manager experience.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in crafting technical statements of work.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Advanced degree.
