Lead Program Manager for Signal Processing Initiatives

Position Overview:

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to lead the Program Management efforts within the Network Information Operations (NIO) Division. This role is critical in managing a diverse portfolio of programs, with a strong emphasis on Contracted Research and Development (CRAD) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of all programs within the assigned portfolio, ensuring adherence to established management baselines.
  • Collaborate with the NIO Division to formulate strategies for business growth, including Internal Research and Development plans and sales forecasts.
  • Act as the primary interface for customers, ensuring satisfaction and effective communication.
  • Manage program execution by achieving financial objectives and mitigating risks while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive program review packages that provide insights into program metrics and performance.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and competitor capabilities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support the development and implementation of business growth strategies, focusing on sustaining and expanding current programs.
  • Assist in identifying and planning Internal Research and Development efforts aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to motivate and manage staff effectively, providing performance feedback and supporting personnel management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams in Engineering, Operations, and Business Development to develop competitive proposals.
  • Strong knowledge of digital and radio frequency communications technologies, including waveform analysis and computer networking.
  • Expertise in cost estimation, risk assessment, and project management methodologies.
  • Active U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Conditional Program Management Certification to be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Familiarity with foreign military communications systems and Electronic Warfare techniques.
  • Experience managing special access programs.
