Position Summary:


Maximize AVITA Medical’s commercial capabilities through data driven decision making, BI and Reporting. The Sales Technology, BI and Reporting Manager is a key member of the Commercial Operations organization and focuses on building and supporting the reporting and analytics environment. This individual partners with stakeholders across all Commercial Operations functions to identify analytics needs that will optimize the performance of the business and enable data-driven decision-making. This role also requires strong knowledge of modern data warehouse and business intelligence platforms to define and create reporting and advanced analytics solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Implement and Manage the reporting and analytics application ecosystem including salesforce administration and serve as the point of escalation on day-to-day operational activities
  • Conduct complex data analysis operations to extract deep insights and provide strategic recommendations that drive critical business decisions and competitive advantage.
  • Drive the development and optimization of advanced reports and dashboards, ensuring they deliver clear, impactful data visualizations that align with senior management's strategic needs.
  • Oversee data collection processes, ensuring high standards of data integrity and security. Implement and maintain data governance practices to ensure data quality across the organization.
  • Act as a key advisor to business units and executive management, interpreting data findings and recommending data-driven strategies. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure alignment of BI initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Lead initiatives to improve and innovate BI processes and tools. Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities and business outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and design trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market. Foster a culture of learning and experimentation within the team.
  • Manage departmental budgets, create systems and reports to track progress and/or redistribute resources to support strategy and ROI
  • Participate, support, and contribute to the ongoing training of commercial representatives through programs and initiatives to improve sale effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (any major) from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Salesforce expertise is a must
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience developing and maintaining data warehouses with at least 3 years in a lead role
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a reporting and analytics role that engages directly with business stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence architectures and implementation experience with the technologies that support them, ranging from traditional data discovery and reporting toolsets to database, ELT, and ML platforms
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture including a foundation in data warehousing concepts, data normalization, and dimensional data modelling
  • Understanding of Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with integrating into traditional hosting models
  • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience using complex table joins and advanced analytical functions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather input from multiple sources and articulate technical recommendations that drive key architecture and business decisions
  • Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Tableau
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment with the ability to leverage resources and skillsets across various functional and technical domains
  • Understanding of IT project management methodologies and SDLC processes, such as Agile Scrum and Waterfall
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the comfort to communicate with all levels of the organization
