We have been experiencing unprecedented growth and have an immediate need for Parts Department Associates in our new dealership in southern Indiana.


Job Summary: The RV Parts/Advisor individual will be responsible for assisting customers in the selection and purchase of RV parts and accessories. They will use their knowledge of RVs and their components to identify and locate the correct parts needed to complete repairs, upgrades, or maintenance on customer RVs. They will work closely with the service department and management to maintain inventory levels and ensure that all parts are readily available when needed. They will also work with customers to sell and schedule service work for customers and the dealership internally. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, both in person and over the phone
  • Use knowledge of RV components to identify and locate the correct parts needed for repairs, upgrades, or maintenance.
  • Assist customers with selecting the right parts for their specific needs.
  • Communicate with the service department to ensure timely delivery and installation of parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and sales.
  • Order and receive parts from vendors and ensure they are correctly entered into the inventory system.
  • Keep parts and accessories organized and well-stocked on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
  • Create and maintain a positive working relationship with vendors, customers, and co-workers.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and accessories related to RVs.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers and service department staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in parts sales, automotive or RV industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of RV components and accessories a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills including inventory management and point-of-sale systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment, as necessary.
