ROLE OVERVIEW


As a Client Marketing Manager at 2San, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience through strategic initiatives focused on merchandising, activation, and product packaging. Your responsibilities will revolve around understanding the customer journey within store aisles, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize the customer experience – ultimately driving awareness and sell-through of our products.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Merchandising Strategy
    • Conduct regular store aisle walks to observe and understand the customer experience.
    • Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and pain points to inform marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate with store managers and staff to gather insights and feedback.
    • Monitor competitor merchandising tactics and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.

 

  • Product Enhancement
    • Assess current product packaging and its effectiveness in communicating product benefits and value.
    • Develop innovative packaging solutions that align with brand identity and resonate with target customers.
    • Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and informative packaging designs.
    • Implement changes to packaging based on customer feedback and market trends.


  • Collaborating with Retailers:
    • Collaborate with retailers on merchandising strategies, product placement, and promotional campaigns to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
    • Develop persuasive pitches and presentations to showcase 2San products and marketing initiatives to retailers. Craft compelling narratives that highlight product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
    • Foster strong relationships with retail partners through effective communication, collaboration, and mutual respect.
    • Tailor presentations to the specific needs and preferences of each retailer, addressing key concerns and opportunities. Serve as a trusted advisor and resource.

 

  • Immediate Needs
    • Understand critical path timings and develop a plan to meet deadlines, including category resets and upcoming meetings.
    • Review syndicated data (e.g., IRI or Nielsen) captured by the team and identify areas for improvement.
    • Fill gaps in competitive analysis information and develop baseline presentations for retailer meetings.


KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


  • A minimum of 6 years recent experience in a similar role, preferably within a start-up or scale up environment.
    AND
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
  • Significant executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives.
  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite
  • Experience within a fast-paced and high energy environment
  • An aptitude for executing business improvement initiatives.
  • Experience of troubleshooting problems and providing recommendations.
  • Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Excellent judgment is essential.
  • Ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice.
