The Dental Sales Director will be part of a rapidly growing section of our current Dental Business.  Abrasive Technology is investing heavily in long term growth, building a high functioning team, and planning for future development.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Help develop new direction and products to move the dental business forward
  • Look outside of the box for solutions that will challenge what already exists and others’ assumptions
  • The ability to adapt written and verbal communication styles to effectively across all levels of the organization, from the production associates up to private investors.
  • Be the link between the sales team and operations
  • Partner with product development to help move the dental business forward
  • Use existing engineering expertise to collaborate on site for product development
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales materials
  • Proven experience in P&L Management capabilities
  • Develop and Maintain sales relationships with key player in the industry
  • Strong understanding of dental customer needs
  • Proven experience with creating selling opportunities in the digital space (e.g. Shopify)
  • Domestic travel as needed possibly up to 25-50%
  • Follow all company safety policies and practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in the dental world
  • Working understanding of dental procedures and the tools required.
  • Be self-driven with taking the dental business, making it your own and growing it.
  • Understanding and adapting priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Working knowledge of the skills needed to successfully sell in the dental market.
  • The drive to find new customers and introduce our products.


Physical requirements:

  • Willingness to work around chemicals and use appropriate PPE.
