Job Summary: The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve value stream goals and objectives. This role involves managing the sales team, building strong relationships with key clients, and identifying new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the manufacturing industry, preferably in propane or related sectors. This position will be located at the Triarc Corporate Office in Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and revenue goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion and new customer acquisition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure long-term business relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Requires up to 50% tavel.
