Job Summary

Alluvionic is seeking a Program Analyst II to support the Office of Financial Management in the Judicial Security Division of the U.S. Marshals Service. The Program Analyst II will support management and other staff members in all financial activities and operations as assigned. This position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service.
 
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)

Salary Range: $70-75k yearly

The Program Analyst II performs, but is not limited to, the following duties:

 Responsibilities:

  • Process financial documents and transactions using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)
  • Review accounting practices to ensure compliance with other Federal laws and regulations (e.g., Single Audit Act), generally accepted Government accounting practices, and relevant Office Management and Budget circulars.
  • Identify corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds.
  • Review and analyze annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance
  • Three years of experience reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures
  • Three years of experience in budget execution during a fiscal year budget cycle
  • Three years of experience in preparing and presenting a status of funds for higher-level management
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills (V-look up, Pivot Tables, etc.)
