Facilities Steward


As part of the Rich Music Marketing team, this position is responsible for overseeing company facilities and maintaining a safe and secure environment for Rich Music employees and guests by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities

This list of essential job functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary. Depending upon individual assignment, the employee may perform all or a combination of several of the following duties:

  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry.
  • Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restricting trespassers.
  • Monitors parking at Morplay Academy 2 verbally informing violators of vehicle with follow-up to Office Manager when vehicles remain in non-compliance.
  • Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Responsible for external vendors while on site and as established by Office Manager.
  • Assist COO & Co-Founder, SVP of Operations and Office Manager with administrative duties including conducting company errands, visiting stores for company purchases, delivering and picking up packages as needed.
  • Assist Office & Studio Managers with inventory control for Morplay Academy and Morplay Studios, respectively including checking equipment in/out to team members as approved by them.
  • Assist Office Manager with any emergency situations according to respective emergency preparedness plans.
  • Maintain consistent presence at assigned worksite and during regular work hours.

Non-Essential Duties And Responsibilities

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements.

  • Attend and contribute to all related company meetings in connection with assigned projects and provide manager and department head with timely follow-up.
  • Ensure awareness of safety and security industry trends and developments to provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Complete detailed incident reports timely and accurately
  • Enforce rules and regulations of facility.
  • Conduct OSHA self-inspections on a monthly basis.
  • Performs related work as assigned.
