Skills/Experience:
- At least 1 year working in the early care and education system, especially efforts related to increasing access, improving quality, supporting early educators, or engaging parents and communities.
- Knowledge of the legislative process, legislative analysis, and advocacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working on systems improvement strategies.
- A minimum of a bachelors degree in early childhood education, social work, sociology, psychology, public policy, public health, or a related field.
- A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
