Job Summary

MedPOINT Management is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our HIT Compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our HIT infrastructure and operations comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct regular audits and assessments of HIT systems and processes to identify potential areas of non-compliance.

· Develop and implement corrective actions to address non-compliance issues and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

· Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and apply this knowledge to HIT operations.

· Assist in the interpretation and application of regulatory requirements to HIT operations, and identify and evaluate HIT-related risks and vulnerabilities.

· Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and controls, and communicate audit status to stakeholders.

· Document incidents and follow up on corrective actions to prevent future occurrences, and support the creation, catalog, and storage of HIT compliance-related evidence documents.

· Assist with the preparation of audit responses and evidence, and ensure that policies and procedures are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in an Information Technology role, with 3+ years of experience in detailed analysis.

· 0-2 years of experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit, Healthcare Compliance, or related field.

· Familiarity with HIT Compliance frameworks and standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC, NIST).

Skills and Abilities

· Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and security principles.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with experience in a fast-paced highly regulated environment, such as healthcare or financial, being a plus.
