We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. This is a critical role in shaping our sales strategy and achieving our business goals.


Job Summary:

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, managing and mentoring the sales team, and collaborating with other departments to align sales efforts with company objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a track record of success in sales management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and market share growth. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team. Set clear goals, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance reviews. Foster a positive team environment and drive team development.
  • Sales Planning: Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and plans. Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Address client needs and concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Share market insights and customer feedback to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve sales processes.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance the sales team’s skills and knowledge. Promote best practices and ensure adherence to sales processes and policies.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets. Develop strategic partnerships and explore potential areas for expansion.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading teams.
  • Experience with B2B service sales.
  • Experience testing markets and sales channels.
  • Experience with international sales.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
