A highly respected new chef-driven restaurant in South Carolina is hiring an Executive Sous Chef to join their professional culinary team.

We would love you to have:

  • Excellent industry accolades
  • Strong background in chef-driven restaurants
  • Constant desire to stay on top of current food trends and deliver impeccable hospitality.
  • Ability to do theoretical costing around food, purchasing, and labor.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and motivational skills, the ability to effectively supervise and inspire staff, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Extremely high standards and attention to detail, well organized, and able to multitask. High level of personal initiative, action, and results-oriented.
  • Executive Sous Chef or Sous Chef experience with a respected hospitality brand
  • Excellent industry references
  • Excellent knowledge of sustainability and sanitation, food production, and shelf life
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a great
  • Passion for farmers' markets and buying local
