Responsibilities:

  1. Development and Implementation:

    • Design and develop new features and functionalities for mobile applications on iOS and/or Android platforms.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Implement clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
    • Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure the quality and performance of mobile applications.

  2. Technical Leadership:

    • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, assisting them in problem-solving, code optimization, and best practices adoption.
    • Act as a subject matter expert in mobile app development, sharing knowledge and expertise with team members and stakeholders.
    • Lead and participate in architectural discussions and decisions, driving the adoption of best practices and standards.

  3. Project Management and Collaboration:

    • Lead or contribute to the planning, estimation, and prioritization of development tasks and projects.
    • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to track progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones and releases.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.

  4. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and trends in mobile app development.
    • Continuously improve development processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing applications and propose solutions to enhance user experience, performance, and maintainability.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.

  2. Experience:

    • 2-5 years of professional experience in mobile app development, with a focus on native iOS and/or Android development.
    • Proven track record of delivering successful mobile applications from conception to deployment.
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  3. Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift (for iOS) or Kotlin/Java (for Android).
    • Solid understanding of mobile app development frameworks and tools, including Xcode and Android Studio.
    • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML parsing, and third-party integrations.
    • Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and patterns.

  4. Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
