POSITION SUMMARY:

The holder of this position is responsible for the administration of inventory for the Parts Hub, and Assembler team inventory output. The administrator must liaise and coordinate with several departments in order to keep flow of parts going to repairs teams and distributors. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential activity satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and abilities required.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

Reports directly to Senior Manager CTO; provides assistance to other department personnel in the performance of clerical duties. May have subordinates reporting to them in the future.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish initial and cyclic inventory (Assembler requisitions)
  • Maintain Par with periodic replenishment from production/Miami Repairs/Assemblers
  • Maintain records of distribution of inventory
  • Closely monitor parts flow and adjust inventory levels to accommodate volume fluctuations
  • Communicate with relevant departments to establish protocols under guidance of Senior Manager
  • Work with repairs group on turnover of refurbished parts
  • Work with shipping department to ensure timely inbound and outbound deliveries
  • Oversee day to day operation of logistics and packing
  • Keep monthly log and file reports to Senior Manager
  • Work directly CTO repairs group to populate SAP with relevant data
  • Work directly with Miami Repairs department as required
  • Supply parts in a timely manner to our satellite facilities
  • Work with Senior Manager to grow group over 12-18-month period
  • Other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have prior working knowledge of inventory systems and protocols
  • Must be highly organized and task oriented
  • Candidate must possess a working knowledge of SAP
  • Must be familiar with cost control analyses
  • Able to lift and move up to 10lbs on a repetitive basis
  • Effective communication skills a must
  • Must be self-motivated and work with little supervision
  • Must be fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use his/her fingers.
  • The employee frequently is required to talk and/or hear.
  • The employee is interchangeably required to sit, stand, and walk.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate (read and write) effectively in a business environment.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work additional hours as needed

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM must be willing and able to work some Saturdays or stay beyond scheduled shift if needed to meet business demands.
