Key Responsibilities:


Client and Carrier Relations:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and asset-based carriers.

Identify and introduce shippers with dedicated routes to appropriate carriers, ensuring mutually

beneficial partnerships.

Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and efficient referral process.


Business Development and Strategy:

Utilize industry knowledge and connections to expand our network of shippers and carriers.

Collaborate with our internal team to align referral strategies with company goals.

Analyze market trends to develop strategies that enhance the referral programs effectiveness.


Technology and Tools:

Utilize advanced technologies to manage and track the effectiveness of the referral process.

Train on and implement data-driven strategies to optimize partnerships and operational efficiency.


Performance Metrics and Reporting:

Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success of the referral program.

Prepare reports for senior management outlining referral outcomes, challenges, and areas for

improvement.


Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the logistics and transportation industry, with a solid foundation in

sales or a related role.

Established book of business and strong relationships with both shippers and asset-based carriers.

Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced

environment.

Proficiency in logistics software and platforms relevant to referral and relationship management.

Bachelors degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
