JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Director of Sales Date Created: 07/15/2024 FLSA Status: Exempt Job Status: Full-Time Reports To: General Manager Schedule: Flexible I. Job Summary The Director of Sales is responsible for driving sales initiatives and maximizing revenue opportunities for the restaurant. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, building strong relationships with clients and community partners to achieve and exceed sales targets. II. Position Responsibilities Essential Job Functions • Effectively sell and provide services to all markets, local, national, and International • Write effective contracts and Banquet Event Orders to communicate appropriately with clients and internal F&B team • Create and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans • Create and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial reports regularly • Develop and execute growth strategies and action plans • Collaborate with the Hotel Sales to maximize exposure of Vilebrequin La Plage Miami Beach • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and partnerships. • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure business for the restaurant and hotel events. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. • Utilize social media and digital marketing strategies to enhance visibility and engagement for the restaurant. Leadership & Team Management • Attend weekly restaurant managers’ meetings • Provide updates to the Restaurant General Manager, Restaurant Partners and work in conjunction with F&B Management. • Effectively build good working relationships, communicate and "report out" to both operational divisions (hotel and restaurant) • Support communication and cross-selling between hotel/restaurant sales teams
