We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Outside Salesperson to join our team and help drive our sales growth in Henderson, KY and surrounding areas.
Job Summary: Outside Salesperson will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and promoting our extensive range of building materials. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong sales background and a deep understanding of the building materials industry.

Key Responsibilities:
· Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in West Central Indiana and East Central Illinois area. Create and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
· Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and other key decision-makers. Understand their needs and provide customized solutions to meet those needs.
· Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our building materials, including their features, benefits, and applications. Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitive landscape.
· Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, including pricing and product specifications.
· Order Management: Oversee the entire sales process from initial contact through order fulfillment. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and resolve any issues that may arise.
· Estimating & Measuring: Capable of accurately estimating building materials and precisely measuring doors, windows, siding, and other building supplies.
· Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities. Provide feedback and recommendations for improving sales strategies and product offerings.
· Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback. Use this information to adjust strategies and improve performance.
· Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales team, customer service, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the building materials or construction industry. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals is essential.
· Knowledge: Strong understanding of building materials, construction processes, and industry standards. Familiarity with local market conditions and key players in your market area.
· Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients.
· Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license is required.
