Job Description

As a Marketing Specialist at Good Source Foods, you will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement. What's more, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work closely with our CEO, VP of Sales, and VP of Manufacturing, learning from their expertise and ensuring our marketing efforts align with our business goals.

As a well-funded start-up company, we expect everyone to chip in and do all the duties needed to help our company be successful. We seek someone willing to roll up their sleeves and help in other areas besides marketing.

Qualifications

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Work with our current marketing firm to determine the best ways to build up marketing in-house.
  • Utilize your creative mind to develop new marketing documents from conception to completion.
  • Design promotional materials in conjunction with the VP of Sales and CEO.
  • Create comprehensive marketing plans that align with our business goals.
  • Maintain and update the company website with current information and engaging content.
  • Establish and maintain a strong brand identity and messaging.
  • Create and modify sales presentations.
  • Transfer and organize all current and historical documents into one shared drive.
  • Providing marketing materials for the current and new product vendors.
  • Expanding social media channels to increase interest and grow the brand.
  • Prepare materials and be the marketing organizer for events.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones
  • Schedule meetings
  • Act as an assistant to the CEO
  • Support projects for CEO, sales, and manufacturing as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in a food or consumer product company.
  • Degree in marketing preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office and various tools essential for producing high-quality marketing materials.
  • “Do what it takes” attitude, willing to pitch in whenever needed.
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented.
  • Passionate about our product and committed to promoting health and reducing obesity.
  • Strong and confident in abilities, able to stand on your own two feet.
  • Organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
