This integral role is designed for an experienced candidate with a strong understanding of wine program management and a passion for wine and spirits education and events.
As our Director of Events your role is impactful, as we pride ourselves on our ability to provide the best selection of fine wines and spirits while educating new and existing customers, bringing them products and experiences that delight and keep them coming back. As you lead and curate off-site events with visiting winemakers, distillery owners and renowned personalities in the wine & spirits industry, you understand the importance of featuring a compelling selection of wines targeting both our Key Accounts and our general customer base.
Budgeting, tracking metrics, and reviewing data to ensure profitability and to consistently provide unique experiences is a core strength; you’ll track inventory, operating costs, and will analyze sales data and customer feedback to ensure successful outcomes, while implementing improvements along the way.
You will be responsible for driving customer attendance and participation by leading and coordinating in-store tastings across our stores, including developing engaging and educational tasting themes as you balance between sophisticated and accessible. You’ll share your passion for wine & spirits as you create educational content, emphasizing the diverse regions and varietals available at K&L, enticing existing and new customers to follow our social media channels.
