This position serves as a Budget Analyst for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Defense Exports & Cooperation (DASA DE&C). Responsible for managing budget distribution, execution, and reconciliation processes. Provides assistance to internal stakeholders with spend plans, processing financial transactions, re-programming requests, and financial reporting. Provides advice on interpretation of policies and regulations;actively monitor enterprise financial/spend metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Support spend plan, POM, and SAPBR development
  • Assist with data calls and various RFI
  • Assist with the development of monthly/quarterly/annual Budget Execution Briefs
  • Formulate execution data for data entry into GFEBS/CCaR applications
  • Handling databases and spreadsheets
  • Preparing and processing documentation
  • Presenting progress reports to managers and staff members
  • Maintains an active communication line with co-workers to keep the smooth flow of operations at offices and resolve issues promptly and efficiently


  • Must possess a current Security Clearance (Secret level)
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred and at least ten (10) years of professional experience is required
  • Strong understanding of Army SC enterprise funding sources (e.g., Title 22, Title 10)
  • Strong expertise in Army financial systems and POM, SABPR development
  • Strong communications skills to brief budget information to leadership
  • Ability to provide allocation recommendations in line with strategic objectives
  • Audits and legal compliance
