Roles and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze existing financial systems, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, define system objectives, and develop solutions to enhance financial reporting and analysis capabilities.
- Configure, implement, and integrate financial software applications, modules, and upgrades to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure accuracy, reliability, and data integrity in financial systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for financial systems and processes.
- Provide user support, training, and guidance to finance teams on system functionalities, best practices, and compliance with internal controls.
- Monitor system performance, data processing, and security protocols to mitigate risks and ensure operational continuity.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in financial systems and software.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) are advantageous.
- Proven experience (X years) as a financial systems analyst, business analyst, or in a similar role involving financial systems implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning and analysis tools) and database management.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, identify system issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, quality, and compliance in financial system operations.
