Attend inter-team and interdepartmental meetings to provide processing insight, questions, and knowledge. Research internal documentation and online records to provide historical gift information to Advancement and Finance. Create and update internal FDS gift processing and procedure documentation.
  • Generate and review gift receipt letters to ensure proper stewardship and accurate and timely communication with donors on the tax deductibility of donations. Assist Donor Relations in reviewing acknowledgment reports for updates, clarification, or issues.
  • Maintain a high level of security in charging credit cards and handling financial and other sensitive/confidential information to preserve security and data confidentiality standards and PCI compliance.
  • In collaboration with Advancement, participate in the creation and maintenance of constituent records to ensure comprehensive and accurate capture of donors, members, and other constituents in the fundraising database.
  • Under the direction of other Accounting staff, create and maintain Fund records to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of purpose, donor type, and the department responsible for raising funds in Advancement records and the general ledger.
