Overview

The Growth Specialist at Masterworks is a vital team member who supports the Director of Growth by managing both sales and marketing initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience across a variety of dynamic tasks, including event planning, content creation, and pitch support. As an organized and flexible individual, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working on diverse projects from setting up trade show booths to managing CRM data and developing marketing campaigns. The position provides a unique opportunity to build professional skills and relationships within a mission-driven organization, with no two days being the same. Your contributions will have a direct impact on driving growth and supporting Christian organizations in achieving their mission.


Responsibilities

Content and Corporate Communications

  • Develop content for social channels, blogs, emails, and newsletters.
  • Own and refine the weekly blog creation process, including strategy, content development with agency leaders, and execution across multiple platforms.
  • Create visual assets for social media and web content.
  • Assist with website tasks such as editing and posting blogs.
  • Write and edit copy for blogs, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee podcast production, including guest outreach, episode planning, interview prep, and project management.
  • Manage and promote webinars, from scheduling and email campaigns to backend support and host training.
  • Lead additional campaigns such as book launches or podcasts.
  • Prepare campaign briefs and assist in creative meetings for external marketing collateral.

New Business Support

  • Maintain the CRM with up-to-date client data, notes, and deal flow.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, scopes of work, and presentations for new business pitches.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential niches through various methods, including surveys and data analysis.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed.
  • Track and manage the growth budget, including processing payments.
  • Design and order promotional materials such as ads, handouts, digital assets, and swag.


Event Planning, Management & Execution


  • Manage all event logistics, from securing venues to coordinating promotional materials and collateral.
  • Solely manage Masterworks’ corporate events, tradeshows, and summits.
  • Create cohesive booth designs by coordinating with vendors and ordering materials.
  • Oversee the printing and shipping of conference collateral.
  • Develop and manage conference budgets, negotiate agreements, and handle contracts.
  • Serve as the liaison with conference hosts and build industry relationships.
  • Plan and coordinate private events with external partners.
  • Coordinate shipping for booth materials.
  • Act as the agency’s ambassador at conference booths.
  • Expect to travel 10-20%, including event attendance, setup, and visits to HQ.


Technical Competencies


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred.
  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an agency or nonprofit.
  • Experience in event management; trade show experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Web Builders, CRMs, ESPs, Canva, Adobe Suite, and LinkedIn.
  • Native understanding of social media and content creation.
  • Strong creative writing skills.
  • Eager to learn new software.
  • Ability to reconcile expenses and coordinate with finance for proper allocation.
  • Strong proofreading skills with a keen eye for grammar.
