Job Summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Aide 1:1 to provide individualized support to students with diverse needs. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with classroom teachers to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and provide one-on-one instruction to students in the classroom and community.
  • Assist classroom teachers in creating a positive and supportive atmosphere, promoting high expectations for student learning.
  • Develop and implement behavioral intervention strategies to support students with challenging behaviors.
  • Monitor student progress, communicate with teachers and parents, and provide feedback to ensure students meet academic and behavioral goals.
  • Collaborate with the ChanceLight team to ensure consistency and quality in our programs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in education or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders, emotional behavioral disorders, and challenging behaviors.
  • Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and make independent decisions in emergency situations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in instructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, and database entry.
