In this entry level position, the incumbent will join our Product Engineering team to create order and quote packages that captures the scope of supply, technical requirements, and all necessary details to produce a finished product.


Responsibilities:


  • Develops actuator production packages to meet the order specification sheet.
  • Processes orders with limited complexity and is more of a support role, work is highly managed/mentored.
  • Utilizes CAD design software to create customer specific actuator layout drawings and

        custom adaptation hardware and components

  • Generates bill of materials
  • Generates special assembly or testing instructions for operations
  • Interfaces with manufacturing to assist in the assembly and manufacturing of actuator packages
  • Processes Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Solidworks
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and ERP system for BOM generation and creation of new parts
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to technically communicate and execute concepts and ideas with cross functional team


Working conditions


Office environment (working remotely one day per week) with exposure to manufacturing activity.
