A leading financial institution is currently seeking a Senior Credit Analyst for their Charter School and Non-Profit group. The Senior Credit Analyst will work closely with the team's Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to perform due diligence, underwrite new credit facilities, and monitor and maintain the loan portfolio. Key responsibilities include analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, monitoring loan covenants, and processing advances and paydowns.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers to monitor and maintain the Charter School and Non-Profit loan portfolio. Duties include reviewing and processing loan advances, collecting and tracking the receipt of required financial reporting, reviewing and spreading financial statements, updating and maintaining covenant tracking reports, performing due diligence, and assisting in the underwriting of credit facilities.

  • Facilitate the initiation and booking of deposit services for the Charter School and Non-Profit portfolio.

  • Partner with Relationship Managers and other sales professionals in various segments to acquire, expand, and retain targeted client relationships.

  • Work with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management Consultants, and branch staff to establish optimal process structures for deposit accounts related to credit facilities.

  • Collaborate with clients, BSA, and compliance colleagues to obtain appropriate documentation to clear prospective customers for account opening.

  • Provide first-point-of-contact support for deposit-related and other non-credit matters for Charter School and Non-Profit clients, resolving client requests and/or issues independently.

  • Support Relationship Managers on underwriting and prepare loan commitment memoranda for approval.

  • Assist with due diligence and analysis on new client relationships and opportunity memos.

  • Demonstrate skills in financial statement spreading and the evaluation of projections.

  • Assist in accurately risk-rating loans/credits and evaluating both cash-flow and collateral-based loans/credits.

  • Perform routine administrative upkeep of portfolios for Relationship Managers.

  • Understand credit policy and procedures and work with various bank departments and customer types to meet client needs.

  • Maintain databases and results tracking to support Charter School and Non-Profit clients' business to both internal and external constituencies.

  • Work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

  • Adapt to a dynamic work environment.

  • Other projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing, or 5 years of equivalent work experience.

  • 3 to 5 years of combined financial services experience.

  • Knowledge of commercial banking products is highly preferred.

  • Dedication to delivering excellent client service and interacting effectively with clients and team members at all levels.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Compensation: The base pay range for this position is USD $67,000.00/Yr. - USD $90,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
