Bridge Media Networks - broadcasting from our Michigan studios to a nationwide audience - is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and technically-inclined person to handle various operations duties including directing newscasts. The right candidate must have a passion for telling good stories and creating high-quality content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directing local and national newscasts
  • Programming automation systems, including on-air playback
  • Monitoring and quality control for our outgoing broadcasts
  • Downlinking shows via satellite and IP delivery
  • Other duties as assigned by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience directing newscasts
  • Handle everything from breaking news, to live shots, to feature coverage
  • Engaged digitally, utilizing multi-platform content distribution
  • Tremendous attention to detail
  • Strong communicator who can work well with our existing
  • Enthusiastic and flexible attitude

We're looking for someone who is willing to learn, ready to get hands-on with a wide range of duties, and interested in working in a unique and unconventional environment.

SCHEDULE:

  • 10 hours/day x 4 days /week
  • Thurs-Sat 6pm - 4am
  • Sun 11pm - 9am
