Content and Social Media Marketing Intern


The Content and Social Media Marketing Intern will support the social media growth of Hank & Roy working collectively in developing content strategy, and creating and managing organic social media content for various platforms.

 

This internship is designed to offer hands-on experience in the dynamic space of marketing within the pet treat industry, collaborating with seasoned professionals who are dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering creativity. 

Compensation:

$20/hour

Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

  • Short form video - TikTok and Instagram Reels
  • Photography: IG Stories and TikTok
  • Graphic Design: Infographics and Promotional Graphics


Write/Edit Copy:

  • LinkedIn Post
  • Social Media Captions


Work closely with The Marketing Coordinator:

  • Community management
  • Aid in influencer marketing efforts
  • Brainstorm and Implement content ideas
  • Contribute to social media publishing and strategy


Find, plan, promote and attend various sponsored events in the KC area

Qualifications:
  • Must be an incoming junior or senior in college
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or similar
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas
  • Strong working knowledge of Canva
  • Photography/Videography Skills
  • Ability to edit short-form video content
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of marketing materials
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and gather information from various stakeholders
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Initiative-taking attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the marketing field
  • This position is based in office
  • Opportunity to turn into a full-time position
  • Employee will be required to travel up to 10% for local events
