RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates in infrastructure planning, architecture design, and engineering.
  • Creates technical documentation as needed.
  • Designs and implements technical solutions
  • Manages projects/systems/issues of medium to high complexity surrounding IT systems planning, configuration, and optimization.
  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member, and in some cases and as a project team lead in others.
  • Develops project plans with milestones and due dates based on collected business requirements and constraints.
  • Delivers project milestones on time and within budget.
  • Coaches and mentors support staff
  • Handles escalation tickets for infrastructure-related issues including system down scenarios.
  • Administers currently supported Windows and Linux Server Operating Systems.
  • Manages Virtualization platform (VMware, ESXi, vSphere)
  • Manages Full M365 / Azure suite of products.
  • Configures, administers, and troubleshoots Cisco and Fortinet network systems.
  • Deploys and manages workloads in Azure cloud.
  • Interfaces with leadership in all functional business areas to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Supports, implements, and works to maintain current knowledge of Cyber Security best practices and systems
  • 10-20% Travel

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows system administration using PowerShell. (AD, DNS, WSUS, SCCM, group policy, InTune, ATP)
  • In-depth knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology
  • Experienced in scripting using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, bash, python or similar scripting languages
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure offerings
  • Experience working with enterprise-class firewalls from Cisco and Fortinet
  • Experience working with VMware-based virtualization platforms.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across all technologies
  • Knowledge of using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations.
  • Ability to perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Industry and vendor-specific certifications and training (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.) Preferred
  • Minimum of 3-years of Windows systems administration using PowerShell.
  • Minimum of 1-year VMware experience
  • Minimum of 1-year experience working with enterprise-class firewalls Fortinet preferably

Qualified candidate should be:
