CNP Technologies is seeking a Senior Network Engineer/System Administrator. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure of our customers and internal infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of network systems, as well as providing technical leadership to the network engineering team. This role requires deep expertise in networking technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Manage network configurations, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network performance.
  • Monitor network traffic and security, implement appropriate security measures, and respond to security incidents.
  • Administer servers, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of operating systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network and systems components.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve network and system infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering and systems administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
  • Expertise and Hands on Experience with Fortigate Firewalls, and Fortinet networking technologies.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere, Nutanix Technologies or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of Windows server administration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, or equivalent are preferred.
