Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Software Engineer to join our product development team. As a Software Engineer, you will be involved in the full software development life cycle, including product development, professional services, and production support. At Focus solutions, we leverage some of the latest cutting-edge features within Azure (Service Bus, Azure Relay, Function Apps, Logic Apps, etc.), This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, enjoying the benefits of a flexible schedule while contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions for the healthcare industry.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using languages such as C# and SQL, following object-oriented programming principles.
  • Utilize Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and other tools to manage source code, track project progress, and collaborate with team members effectively.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) pipelines to ensure efficient and automated software delivery.
  • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to plan and execute development sprints, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide professional services, including technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring successful implementation and integration of our software solutions.
  • Collaborate with the production support team to troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring system stability and uptime.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, actively researching and proposing innovative solutions to enhance our software offerings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Proficient in Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SQL, and C# programming language.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with CICD practices and tools for automated software delivery.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required.
