Under the direction of the Director, Due Diligence, this position is responsible to search and retrieve public records from all repositories. The position will coordinate and support the process service program/process and interface with a host of INA clients to include, but not be limited to attorneys, insurance and title companies, etc.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Records Research/Process Service

  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients providing the highest level of customer service and support.
  • Conduct research for civil suits, judgements, liens, bankruptcy, mortgages, deeds, and property ownership UCC, corporate tax lien, etc. Research may be conducted at a county, state, or federal courthouse, via online database, etc.
  • Retrieve and serve subpoenas, following industry standard and best practice; Create affidavit of service and invoice client.

Administrative Support

  • Perform complex and confidential administrative functions including, but not limited to, developing and typing meeting minutes or written correspondence, typed memos, purchase requisitions, payment requisitions, payment requests, and other department forms and documents.
  • Collect and analyze requirements for licensing in various states.
  • Review and analyze forms, correspondence, audit and investigation reports, and records to determine completeness, accuracy of information, and compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Provide support to INA's clients and customers as primary point of contact for walk-in traffic and telephone calls to the main corporate number.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS

  • A high school diploma or GED required with at least two (2) years' experience in court records collection; or any combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft office software and personal computer.
  • Knowledge of multi-line phone systems, fax machines, photocopier and other basic office equipment.
  • Advanced written communication skills to compose routine letters/responses and to edit/proof business correspondence and reports.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in and maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Proven track record of attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with professional, quality results.
  • Work outside of core business hours, including but not limited to before shift, after shift, nights and/or weekend hours.
  • Possession of valid driver's license from the state of residence, with proof of insurance; access to reliable transportation to and from work.
