As a Power BI Developer / Data Warehouse Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Power BI dashboards and data warehouse solutions. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to ensure that our BI and reporting solutions meet the needs of the organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in Power BI development and a strong understanding of data warehouse architecture and administration. You will also be responsible for all integration from and to other applications that feed into the data warehouse on prem and/or Azure instance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into business performance.
  • Create and maintain data models, data sets, and ETL processes within the data warehouse environment to support business requirements.
  • Optimize and streamline data integration and data delivery processes to improve overall efficiency and data quality.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, define KPIs, and ensure that BI solutions align with business needs.
  • Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of data used for reporting.
  • Administer and maintain the data warehouse environment, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data security.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in BI development, data warehousing, and data visualization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role with expertise in creating dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehouse design, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Certifications in Power BI or related technologies are a plus.
