Context & Main Responsibilities:


A growing, international company operating on a human scale, Dickson has recently equipped itself with a new CRM (Salesforce) to complement its existing ERP (NetSuite). As part of our digital transformation strategy, we are creating a key position, within the finance department, to improve the integration of our systems and strengthen our data analysis capabilities.


As a Data and Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and managing data integration processes between our systems (NetSuite, Salesforce and other business applications). You will design and implement strategies to automate data collection and reporting for the finance department.


This hybrid role is crucial for the company, offering a unique opportunity to combine data engineering and business intelligence responsabilities in an environment undergoing rapid digital transformation.


Reporting Structure: Manager, Corporate Finance & Accounting (Based in the United States).


Tasks :


Data Integration

  • Design, develop and manage data integration processes between ERP (NetSuite), CRM (Salesforce) and other business applications, to ensure the smooth flow and availability of data for analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data extraction to produce, among other things, accurate and timely financial reports. Ensure that all data extractions comply with business requirements and reporting needs.


BI - Dashboard development and visualization :

  • Create, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Excel Dashboards, or other platforms.
  • Work closely with the finance team and other departments to understand their data needs and propose tailored visualization solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Establish dynamic reports summarizing financial and commercial indicators, enabling real-time monitoring of company performance.


Automating data collection and reporting: Develop and implement strategies and systems to automate data collection and streamline reporting processes, reducing manual intervention and enhancing the accuracy and speed of reports.


Data quality assurance: Guarantee the quality, reliability and security of integrated data by implementing data validation and cleansing procedures.


Support and training: Provide technical and functional support to finance teams and other departments, facilitating adoption of BI tools ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the analyses produced.



Your profile


Training: 5-year degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.


Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience, either in a similar role combining data integration and BI development assignments within a finance department, or with an enterprise software solutions provider (ERP, CRM).


Technical Skills :

  • Expertise in systems integration (ERP, CRM) and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite-Oracle.
  • Proficiency in relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL),including the development, maintenance, and optimization of SQL queries and data extraction processes
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell).
  • Ability to automate reporting processes and work with complex data pipelines.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel Dashboards) for dashboard creation and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake) is a plus.


Analytical and Functional Skills :

  • Ability to understand business needs, particularly in the financial field, and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with an ability to synthesize and a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, explaining technical concepts to non-technical users, and training users.
  • Ability to work remotely and with teams in different time zones.
