Openwork is currently assisting Harris County in their search for a Program Coordinator. This position provides administrative and program/project support to the DR Buyout program.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for project-related questions, vendor contract management activities, and address contract issues with vendors.
  • Monitor quality assurance and quality control activities for invoice submissions related to the DR Buyout as needed.
  • Maintain communications with internal and external individuals to obtain needed information, reconcile issues, or assist with information requests related to the DR Buyout Program.
  • Attend meetings as requested by the director or the director’s staff.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and work comfortably with tight deadlines.
  • Identify problems and offer resolutions.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and/or four (4) years of accounting/financial/grant experience.
  • Experience with grant requirements, with an emphasis on knowledge of 2 CFR 200 and HUD CDBG-DR regulations.
  • Experience with Buyout programs and vendor management.
Job Details
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Pay Rate: $28.56 per hour.
  • Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision.
