EGSE Support Manager

Responsibilities
· Lead all activities related to EGSE used in the FAL and all production lines.
· Serve as the primary point of contact in the clean room for all EGSE-related activities and provide support as needed.
· Manage a team of EGSE technicians.
· Liaise with the "Design to manufacture" team in Toulouse, France, to ensure proper implementation of off-nominal instructions on EGSE.
· Implement changes on the FAL EGSE stemming from flight/ground designs or process changes.
· Oversee the improvement of FAL EGSE.
· Manage EGSE maintenance, calibration, and related activities for the FAL.
· Support new programs in assessing FAL workstations' design, proposal, and processes alongside the FAL Mechanical Engineering Manager.
· Provide leadership to Automation technicians working closely with the EGSE Team.
· Manage, organize, develop, and coach the FAL EGSE team. Support production engineers and technicians on all topics concerning EGSE.
· Develop comprehensive familiarity and expertise with manufacturing processes, satellite configurations, and manufacturing process requirements related to electrical systems and EGSE.
· Manage EGSE maintenance, schedule, calibration, repair, development, and implementation for the FAL.
· Support any off-nominal EGSE required by program office or Design to Manufacture (D2M).
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
· Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
· Hands-on experience with electrical ground support equipment
· Demonstrate ability to manage a team and organizational topics.
· Demonstrate ability to plan/accomplish objectives while multi-tasking and prioritizing.
· Experience in the spacecraft/satellite business is a plus.
· Experience working in a clean room environment, understanding of precision cleaning, and handling/maintaining clean hardware/systems.
· Must be able to review and understand both written and electronic procedures and technical documents in English. Verbal French or Spanish is a plus.

· Up to _0_% travel required
Physical Requirements:
- Carrying: able to carry documents and/or electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9kg.
- Lifting: able to lift documents and/or electronic equipment up to 20lbs/9kg.
- Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas.
- Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.
- Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
- Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
- Walking: able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
