THE VITAL ROLE YOU HAVE
As our Healthcare Patient Representative, you greet patients warmly and welcome them with a positive first impression. By assisting patients with appointment scheduling, registration, and insurance verification, you provide them with the necessary information about clinic services, procedures, and billing inquiries. Collaborating with healthcare providers and administrative staff to address patient concerns promptly allows you to make a meaningful impact. Your work in maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations contributes to the integrity of patient care, while coordinating referrals to specialists and conducting patient satisfaction surveys allows you to implement improvements based on feedback. Acting as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, you ensure effective communication and continuity of care
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We're looking for a Healthcare Patient Representative who can meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and empathetic attitude
Having a bachelor's degree as well as prior healthcare or customer service experience is a plus It's also desirable but not required to have knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures.
Our ideal candidate can work a full-time schedule within our business hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 8 AM - 7 PM
- Friday: 8 AM - 3 PM
