As a Customer Service Representative you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support. You'll be the first point of contact for inquiries and requests, handling them promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, research, and respond to customer inquiries and requests via phone, fax, mail, email, or in person, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Address inquiries regarding shipping/delivery dates, order changes/cancellations, quotations, service questions, and general customer concerns with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients, building and nurturing positive relationships with every interaction.
  • Update customer information in the database during and after each call, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and follow up on less complex customer complaints, such as late shipments, damaged products, or replacements, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong typing skills with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.
  • Proven ability to manage customer inquiries from start to finish, including problem resolution and follow-up.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, with the ability to quickly learn new software, experience with CRM systems is highly preferrable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on active listening and professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining and updating customer records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
