If you’re providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same keep reading to learn about a dynamic opportunity as an Outbound Sales Representative on our e-conolight team.

As an Outbound Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing accounts within our eCommerce platform. Your role will involve a combination of cold calling, qualifying leads, and following up on sales inquiries to convert prospects into loyal, repeat customers. You’ll work diligently to understand customer needs and offer our full range of contractor-grade lighting products at competitive prices, ensuring both new customer acquisition and the growth of our existing customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Timely follow up on large opportunity quotes to understand customer’s needs, deadlines and any obstacles to closing the deal
  • Build relationship with top customers to earn trust and become go-to contact for all their lighting needs, including frequent contact and follow-up with new offerings from e-conolight
  • React to bid opportunities / fixture schedules by leading team of internal stakeholders to quickly respond with a complete solution in timely manner
  • Become the first point of contact with new customers to introduce them to the e-conolight family, better understand their business needs, and offer ways to enhance their buying experience on future orders
  • Address inquiries regarding shipping/delivery dates, order changes/cancellations, quotations, service questions, and general customer concerns with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients, building and nurturing positive relationships with every interaction.
  • Update customer information in the database during and after each call, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process and follow up on less complex customer complaints, such as late shipments, damaged products, or replacements, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, or Sales).
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or sales, with a preference for experience in eCommerce or account management.
  • Proficiency with typing speed of 30 words per minute or higher.
  • Experience in end-to-end account management is a plus.
  • Skilled in Office 365 and other relevant software. Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and CRM systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and present solutions.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, sales follow-up, and customer relationship building.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and customer feedback to drive growth and optimize strategies.
