Account Executive – Raleigh, NCOur Raleigh-based SaaS client is seeking an Account Executive for their Raleigh, NC office. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business and revenue growth through outbound and inbound sales efforts. You will work closely with our client’s marketing team to identify and engage with prospective clients, build relationships, and close deals. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with excellent communication skills, prior experience closing deals in a high-volume setting, and a proven track record of success in SaaS sales. Preference will be given to those with HubSpot experience and prior accounting, or hospitality knowledge/experience.
Our client is a growing software company whose mission is to build solutions that optimize the management of the hospitality industry. This permanent position offers a competitive salary, commission plan and benefit package. Our client has a hybrid office policy, currently working 2 days/week in the office. No visa situations for these opportunities. What You Will Do
- Identify and engage with prospective clients through outbound and inbound sales efforts.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive demand.
- Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand the needs of prospective clients and present our platform as a solution.
- Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate and close deals with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure a smooth handover of new clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and notes in HubSpot.
- Previous experience selling into hotel or hotel management organizations.
- 3+ years of SMB/B2b SaaS sales experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Prior experience closing deals in a high-volume setting.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Availability to travel as needed to clients or tradeshows.
- Prior accounting experience/knowledge
- HubSpot experience
