Pastoral Care Coordinator

Part Time (22.5 hours per week) Day Shift

Requires some Sundays and Holidays

** Pay rate up to $27.00/hour; based on experience **

Requirements for a Pastoral Care Coordinator:

  • Masters of Divinity Degree.
  • Clinical pastoral education and experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Ordained or eligible to be ordained.

Responsibilities for a Pastoral Care Coordinator:

  • Conducts Sunday worship service.
  • Coordinates and conducts special worship services throughout the year.
  • Conducts prayer and study groups for Members.
  • Assesses and meets the spiritual needs of Residents at Linden Knoll.
  • Conducts memorial or funeral home services when requested by family.
  • Provides individual pastoral care with Members and families at times of crisis, and upon request.
  • Documents in-house spiritual care visits.
  • Assists Members in participating in appropriate worship services within facility or at area churches.
  • Acts as liaison between the FH and area churches and clergy to provide additional pastoral care as requested by Members.
  • Participates in/lead staff education opportunities as appropriate.
  • Participates in task forces and committees as assigned and/or appropriate.
  • Attends and participates in continuing education programs designed to keep abreast of changes in profession as scheduled or directed.
  • Develops and maintains a good working rapport with interdepartmental personnel to assure that the needs of Members are met.
  • Performs other duties as required by supervisor or by Administration as directed.
