Seeking an Automation Project Engineer to work for a Professional Engineering and Systems Integrator firm that specializes in Design and Design-Build services primarily for Water and Wastewater projects. This company has been around for more than 25 years and is growing They've cultivated a strong client and employee-centered environment. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, applied Engineering or related technical field experience is required for this position.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge in controls using CAD programs including AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Civil 3D.
  • Applicable knowledge of hydraulic (water) and pneumatic controls, the UL 508a Code and NEMA Ratings, ANSI and IEC.
  • Experience in the water and wastewater industry and consulting engineering is a plus.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as a technical liaison between Project Managers, Designers, Field Technicians, and clients during onsite work.
  • Create and maintain standards for Factory Acceptance Testing for in-house tests and client requests.
  • Create installation packages for Field Technicians to install Control Panels and Instrumentation.
  • Provide input to designers on hardware updates and upgrades and guidance on hardware limitations.
  • Conduct on site surveys for new project work.
