Williams Consulting, LLC (WCLLC) is in search of a Public Health User Experience (UX) Analyst who has experience in federal government contracting. This position is based at our Catonsville, Maryland office and offers a hybrid work environment. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. This position is contingent upon award.

Description

Williams Consulting, LLC is seeking a passionate Public Health User Experience UX Analyst to lead qualitative research initiatives, engaging individuals and groups with lived experience of health and healthcare disparities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct qualitative research studies, including in-depth interviews and focus groups, to explore personal experiences and perceptions navigating the healthcare system
  • Develop interview topic guides, recruitment strategies, and material tailored to diverse populations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to recruit participants, and facilitate meaningful engagement throughout the research process
  • Use Human Centered Design (HCD) principles to synthesize research finding and translate insights into actionable recommendations for improving health equity and healthcare delivery
  • Produce detailed analytics reports and presentations that effectively communicate research findings, insights and recommendations
  • Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices and innovations in UX research and healthcare disparities
  • Represent at meetings and conferences to advance health equity and address social determinants of health
  • Other duties as assigned


 Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience conducting qualitative research, particularly with populations experiencing health and healthcare disparities
  • Expertise in designing and implementing research methodologies such as in-depth interviews and focus group studies
  • Familiarity with HCD principles and their application to research processes
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice in research practices and outcomes
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and Marketplace health plans, health equity principles, social determinants of health, and disparities in healthcare access and outcomes preferred
  • Experience with qualitative data analysis tool and techniques, and the ability to generate actionable insights from complex data sets
  • In-depth understanding of federal statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be highly detail oriented with the ability to pivot to meet emerging needs
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Project) and Adobe
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and a positive work ethic in all situations
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing events and competing priorities
  • Background investigation required

Working Conditions and Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. Standing, sitting, squatting, and other normal office-related physical activities are required. Must be able to sit and read computer screens for extended periods.
