Position: Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Location: Fully Remote (with travel required during trials)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $25 - $30 per hour

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our team.


Position Overview:

The Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal will play a critical role in managing and supporting personal injury cases through all phases of litigation. This position is fully remote but requires the ability to travel during trials. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation, be able to handle large and complex caseloads, and possess strong time-management skills. Personal Injury experience and fluency in Spanish are preferred.

Compensation:

$25 - $30 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Manage and oversee personal injury litigation cases from inception through resolution.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and answering questions about their case.
  • Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for trial, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders. Travel to trial locations as needed.
  • Research: Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information to assist attorneys.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain and update case calendars, including deadlines, court dates, and appointments.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and other paralegals to ensure efficient and effective case management.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as managing case files, scheduling meetings, and corresponding with court personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Independent Worker: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
  • Time Management: Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
