The Role

The Regional Director (RD) leads and oversees a team of Division Sales Managers within an assigned Region. The RD is responsible for driving the strategy and initiatives established by the Congo Brands leadership team. A main priority of the RD is to establish, build and maintain relationships with the senior leadership and ownership of key Distributor Partners within their Region.

Key Responsibilities

· The RD owns the budget and targets (volume, distribution, share, etc.) for their assigned region.

· Develop communication schedule with distributor Partners to implement Congo Brands’ business strategies and projects.

· Develop communication process with DSM(s) to ensure understanding of strategies and goals

· Manage and achieve defined KPI targets for the region: account base, distribution, additional store placements, etc.

· Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships in defined region by providing first class customer service and engagement with all distributors

· Develop best practices to share and implement within the network

· Work across other departments to benchmark performance and best practices

· Train, motivate, lead, and develop the sales team to maximize their potential and results

· Ensure distributor partners and DSM(s) have the information and tools they need to execute and achieve goals

· Establish and maintain a dynamic team environment that encourages positive attitudes, and team interaction

Key Skills and Experience Required

· 10+ years’ experience in traditional off premise sector.

· 5+ years’ experience leading sales teams

· Leadership, motivation, and team skills

· Clear understanding of the off-premise channel.

· A commitment to people management and development with a proven ability to build and develop talent

· Strong analytical and organizational ability

· Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and experience with Field Force automation

· High negotiation and interpersonal skills

· Experience with management reporting and budget control

· Valid Driver’s License

Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Travel

· 50%

· This position requires a clean driving record and authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon receiving and accepting a job offer.
