Job Essential Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update all Client Financials; create accurate and detailed Company Financials for all clients
  • Work with business users to understand their analytical needs, document and prioritize requirements, and to help them effectively use the data and analytical tools that the team has developed.
  • Utilize Excel and other resources and tools to identify and acquire data, design solutions, and generate ad hoc or self-serve reports to satisfy user requirements
  • Identify opportunities to introduce self-service or automation that aligns with Team Strategy
  • Execute regularly scheduled (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.) reports while still evaluating for additional automation or analytical efficiencies
  • Analyze reporting outputs for accuracy and completeness
  • Document and disseminate instructions/training materials concerning generation, completion, and distribution of reports
  • Complete General Ledger Reviews for all clients; audit and identify inconsistencies; collaborate with team members to correct errors

Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a Financial analysis and reporting role required
  • Understanding of accounting and finance principles and best practices; Uses good judgement and follows financial best practices when making decisions.
  • Highly proficient with Excel and accounting software required; QuickBooks experience is a bonus
  • Analytical and innovated minded; able to identify opportunities and risk through reviewing data
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines
  • Highly organized; capacity to prioritize heavy workload while navigating a variety of competing and ever-changing priorities
  • Confident, professional and articulate in written and verbal communication; articulate in communicating financial data
  • This position is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Requires face-to-face discussions with individuals and teams.
