Position Summary

The Senior Global Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the day-to-day activities related to conceptualizing, implementing, and executing market strategies and promotional initiatives to achieve global commercial milestones. The position will develop and execute strategic vision for how the Company shows and describes the value of GammaTile products and drives the execution of that vision. The position will help ensure that GT Medical develops compelling messaging, product narratives, case studies, videos, and presentations, and uses them effectively across all direct and digital communication.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years demonstrated success partnering with neurosurgeons and/or radiation oncologists, physicists and dosimetrists, and will have a strong understanding of radiotherapy and oncologic markets. In addition, the candidate will have a proven track record of helping drive brand awareness and revenue growth that helped companies achieve long-term strategic goals, including organic growth, acquisition and/or IPO.


Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist with the building of the GammaTile brand value proposition and marketing strategy.
  • Drive and awareness and adoption for GammaTile brand.
  • Craft strategies to revamp the GammaTile brand.
  • Partner w/ Sales leadership to understand critical gaps and develop needs assessment.
  • Develop deep understanding of the buying audience among neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists and healthcare networks.
  • Gather insights into competitors and complements, industry trends, target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process. Utilize this information to establish best practices around customer targeting and optimal deliverables to maximize efficacy.
  • Assist with market research initiatives, resulting in continuous monitoring and analysis of customer requests. Ensure this knowledge, combined with industry knowledge, is effectively incorporated into the development of future product offerings and product support materials.
  • Manage multiple team members to drive product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with the audience.
  • Ensure that product marketing managers are providing messaging that is effectively used across internal and external communication.
  • Help to identify market expansion opportunities for our products in potential new indications.
  • Lead and execute preventive maintenance program for equipment and facility.
  • Embodies the Company’s purpose and shared values, building a positive and productive team culture.
  • Follow all safety rules and safety procedures.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Authorized to access employee and/or patient PHI and ePHI only as needed for job-related functions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a life sciences or medical device senior marketing management or product marketing role(s).
  • Minimum of 5 years of team management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven ability to partner with the sales organization.
  • Experience having successfully taken a product from concept, research, and development to market
  • Strong communication and presentation skills: this person will regularly work closely with both internal teams and customers.
  • Examples of exceptional presentation skills, including both content creation and delivery.
  • Exceptional writing skills that emphasize value storytelling rather than jargon.
  • Hands-on and results-oriented: you’ll own many projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to learn new products and evaluate them in the competitive environment.
  • Energy and enthusiasm to operate within a fast-growing, fast-changing environment.
  • Strong internal leader who has a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and partnership building.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing analytics to solve and prioritize business challenges.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Able to travel for work as needed.
  • Satisfactory pass drug screening (if applicable).
  • Satisfactorily pass comprehensive background screening.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

  • Works in a variety of environments (office, home, hotel, events, hospital).
  • Frequent travel using a variety of transportation methods for work, meetings, events, trainings, etc.
  • Frequent overnight travel depending up on needs.
  • Combination of a stationary role with frequent movement from place to place.
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor and other office/sales equipment.
  • Frequently picks up, carries, and moves items up to 30 lbs.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work.
